Position Title: Bar Back
Location: 404 Celsius, Senoia, GA
Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (AM/PM Shifts)

Overview:

As a Bar Back at 404 Celsius, you will support our bartenders by ensuring the bar is well-stocked, organized, and running efficiently. This entry-level position is essential to maintaining a smooth workflow and enhancing the overall guest experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Stock Management:
• Assist in keeping the bar stocked with necessary supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the Bar Manager about restocking needs.
• Help with the unloading and organization of deliveries to ensure all supplies are properly stored.
• Cleaning and Maintenance:
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including countertops, sinks, and storage spaces.
• Wash and sanitize glassware, utensils, and bar equipment regularly.
• Dispose of waste and keep the bar area free of clutter to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Support Bartenders:
• Assist bartenders during busy service periods by preparing garnishes, pouring non-alcoholic beverages, and delivering drinks to guests as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests and addressing any immediate needs.
• Learn drink recipes and bar operations to grow into more responsibilities over time.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with bartenders and other staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with team members to manage busy shifts and special requests.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge of bar operations.

Expectations:

• Efficiency: Work diligently to keep the bar running smoothly, especially during peak hours.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with bartenders and other staff to create a positive work environment and excellent service.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and that the bar area is consistently clean and organized.
• Adaptability: Be flexible and willing to take on various tasks as needed to support the bar team.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is a plus, but not required.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for guest interactions and teamwork.
• Eagerness to Learn: A passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to grow within the role.
